OVERVIEW
Products within FORM/WORKS are organized through a structured identification system built to communicate context, material behavior and product classification through a consistent set of identifiers.
Each product is assigned a unique identifier instead of a conventional product name, collection or seasonal designation. The identifier describes the product's position within the system. Every identifier combines a Framework classification, a Textile System designation and an Object Type. This lets products be read as components of a larger architecture, not as isolated designs.
The identification system creates consistency across FORM/WORKS. A person looking at a product should be able to see where it belongs, what material it uses and how it relates to other products, without needing anything explained.
IDENTIFIER STRUCTURE
Every product identifier is composed of multiple layers of information. Each layer has a specific purpose and role in classifying the final object.
Reading an identifier from left to right shows the context a product was developed for, the material system used to achieve its performance characteristics and the object category it belongs to.
FRAMEWORK PREFIXES
Framework prefixes identify the Framework a product belongs to. They give context within the identifier, and they let products be grouped by shared development requirements.

Textile prefixes identify the primary textile system used in a product. They communicate material classification and connect products that share a textile system.

OBJECT TYPES
Object Types define the physical category of a product within FORM/WORKS. They give a consistent naming structure independent of Framework or Textile System classification. Products are grouped by form factor, not performance requirement. Because object classification is separate from performance classification, a single object category can exist across multiple Frameworks and Textile Systems while keeping a consistent identifier structure.

SYSTEM SUMMARY
The Product Identification system provides a consistent method for organizing, classifying and referencing products within the FORM/WORKS ecosystem. By combining Framework, Textile System and Object classifications into a single identifier, products remain connected to the broader architecture from which they are developed.
The result is a scalable structure capable of supporting new Frameworks, Textile Systems and Objects while maintaining consistency across the system as a whole.
